Openly gay actor George Takei, “Star Trek’s” Mr. Sulu, stopped by the Franklin Institute, in Philadelphia, on August 20, to talk, meet and greet, and sign autographs for “Star Trek” fans, in order to promote the “Star Trek” exhibition being held at the Franklin Institute. “Star Trek: the Exhibition” is currently showing at the Franklin Institute and runs through September 20.
