On December 16, following his morning announcement about it at New York City’s LGBT Community Center, New York State Governor David A. Paterson signed an Executive Order prohibiting discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression in New York State government employment.

The Arts Project of Cherry Grove hosted its final meeting of the year at Arte Pasta restaurant, in Greenwich Village, on December 8. Celebrating the success of the Hollywood-themed season, APCG President Michael Coffindaffer confirmed to the board that the season finished in the black.
